Fan Love

A major key for success as DJ Khaled would say, and he’s right. Having fans that love you and your brand is important. Because without your fans you don’t have much. They are your bread and butter, they are the individuals that can make or break your business. Having fans is important, but having fans that love you is even more so. These are the people that will talk about your brand, they will share and save and bring in more potential customers. So nurturing these relationships is incredibly vital. These are the relationships that you want to cater to, you want to build up and create trust. So how do we do this?

  1. Give your fans their 15 minutes

Ask followers to submit content and use their content. This way you get access to a bunch of customer content that you didn’t have to create yourself, and it’s free. But if you’re using their content make sure to give them their 15 minutes on your platform. Give them a shout out and tag them in it. It’s so easy, and super effective.

  1. Run a fan contest

Everyone loves contests, they are easy to join and they offer a chance to win something, everyone loves that. So why not have a contest using customer submissions? Ask your fans to submit and offer the winner an amazing prize. Even better after all the submissions are in let individuals vote on which piece of content should win.

  1. Crowd source!

Crowdsourcing is a great way to utilize your following. It is a very easy way to engage fans and get their opinions on a variety of questions that you as a business might have for your customers. Your fan base is a great way to be able to understand what your customers want, and don’t worry they will tell you. Engaging your customers will also leave them with a feeling of empowerment and as a result you’ll build a great amount of customer loyalty.

The great thing about fan love is that it can be created and cultivated, so why not see them in a way that not only empowers your company, but also your fan base as a whole. When you give your fans power they will feel like part of the community and are more likely to use this power for good.
