If you’re a creative individual, you know what it’s like to be in a slump and nothing you do seems to be award-winning. We are all our worst critics and we know there is always room for improvement, so keeping discouragement or the green-eyed monster at bay can be a full-time job. Some of us become married to our work and it can develop into an ego, which could be upsetting if we are met with any criticism.
This can especially be difficult as a student still learning the tools of the trade, comparing school work to other colleagues. I have some quick tips that could help fend off hopelessness and writer’s block in this short infographic.
With this being said, this will be my last blog post on behalf of Snagged. I’m filled with a mixture of feelings about leaving this place; sadness, uneasiness, uncertainty but also excitement for the future. I’ve been recruited by another company through Linked in as a graphic designer and I’m moving on to new adventures for. It’s daunting but I’m embracing change with open arms because I know it’s for the best. It’s been fun writing these blogs and I tried to always make them as educative as possible.
